Snake Charming is very popular in India and attract many tourists to that place but they have attractions very dangerous because the snakes that they work with have a very high poisonous venom that with a single bite you can die in few minutes and if you have a lot of luck in few hours, because people can react different to snake poison for example I read an article about a men that was bite by a cobra and his skin turn in very bad conditions but the venom inside his body don’t make anything to him and that was a miracle because we know the cobras for being very dangerous and not to get in they way if you saw one.
Snake Charmers work with different types of snakes not all are very poisonous but still very dangerous because they are big snakes like a piton that is very strong and can strangle with its strength.
Most common named as snake charmers flute, the pungi is the instrument of the snake charmers and its purpose is to hypnotize the snake and make it dance or only to make it stay and it seems to be a tame snake but it’s a very dangerous and poisonous snake that with a single bite they can kill you because the poison that the cobra has is like acid and breaks out tissues and can make a hole in the skin. It has a length of one or two feet’s, and its handmade and at its name is made of pungi, to play the snake charming flute the snake charmers need to use and learn a technique called circular breathing because the melodies are not designed to stop because the snake could recover its awareness.
Types of Snakes used
The most common snake they use in the snake charming is the Egyptian Cobra but they often use many others snaked an d not all poisonous like the “rat snake” that its only feed by rats, they also use the “India Sand Boa”, and also the “Puff Adder”. Obviously they start their training with non poisonous snakes and then they start adding more adrenaline to their training until they can manage the most deadly snaked in the world.

In these video you can see the dangerous that is to have these snakes because the snake charmers need to clean the all, feed them and train them all, it’s awesome how they manage the snakes, they take them form one place to another and they don’t have a single bite. These are the most dangerous things that a person could do face a snake because the are not domesticated and if you go close to them they bite you but few people can take care of them without getting killed.

In India large amount of snake charmers could be seen on streets, cities and towns and its very good for tourism, but in the past few years the snake charmers could be in danger because of the government crackdown. They are also called pungi and they are one of the mayor attractions when you go to India because people like to take pictures close the cobra.
But some tourists that go to India not for those attractions are very scared because the snakes they handle are extremely poisonous and a single bite can get you directly to an instant dead, so in many parts of India the government don´t like snake charmers but police are afraid of them because of the poison of the snake so not all get arrested.
Something that is not in favor of snake charmers is that the government begun a campaign to take care of the snakes and they could´t have a exotic snake in their possesion.
An snake charmner is a guy that risks his life hypnotizing poisonous snakes likes Cobras, it also includes handling the snake, and many more dangerous performances that puts on danger his life. This act is most commoly in India but many places like Asian, Africa, and Egypt performs this very dangerous acts. The snake charming represents a heroe that can control the devil (snake). The act consist on taking out a cobra from a box and start playing the flute and the snake in state of hypnosis start daning from one side to the other side inside the box, they became a popular tourist attraction in the begining of the 50´s. Besides the cobras the snake charmers also use pythons and mambas to make the same thing. If these poisonous snakes bite someone they would be considered as blasphemousby the Hinduism. All the snakes that the snake charmers use are all captures because is a tradition to go the wilds and capture a snake and they always have a sustitue for all the snakes. The flute that the snake charmers use is called naskar that is made of bamboo stem and coconut shell. Always before the show the snake charmer washes thir snakes for them to be wet and fresh.
